Yamile have been working hard tonight. She had reading tutoring after school and after I picked her up found out she had some math to do. They were just working on money. Yamile was and is totally lost.  

Now they have today begun telling time. I tried to teach her this once before and it didn’t really go anywhere. She is really struggling. She can’t seem to get the concept of o’clock ie son las….. en punto or 30 i.e son las….y media. We worked on it off and on for 20 minutes at a time all night long. We are using her text book from school, several other schools, two telling time clocks, telling time cards and telling time sheets.  

Tomorrow we will begin again. I don’t know what to do about the money. I think I am going to let it go until Thanksgiving. On we get time down. We have to start working on basic (one digit) addition and subtraction again. 

Jorge keeps trying to “help” which usually means he comes over and starts touching/losing all of our work. He is so cute though.

Anyway, they both worked really hard.
